About Sofia
I am passionate about understanding the human psyche and helping people to create positive, lasting, and meaningful change in their relationships and lives.

I’ve lived through depression, panic attacks that lasted twelve years, postpartum depression after the birth of my daughter, and the slow unraveling of a marriage I fought hard to save. I know what it feels like to be in the middle of something that seems impossible to get through.
I also know what it feels like to come out the other side.
That experience — of genuine struggle and genuine healing — is at the heart of everything I bring to this work. I’m not standing at a clinical distance handing you tools. I’m sitting with you in it, because I’ve been there.

Training & Approach
I hold a Master’s Degree in Spiritual Psychology and am a Certified Relational Life Therapy Coach. I am also a Certified Imago Relationship Therapy Community Facilitator. I have advanced training in Emotionally Focused Therapy for Couples, as well as training in hypnotherapy and numerous other modalities.
My approach is humanistic, attachment-based, and deeply relational. I work with individuals, couples, and families across the full spectrum of identity and relationship structure — including LGBTQI+ individuals, polyamorous relationships, and all forms of intimate partnership.

Outside the Office
When I’m not working I’m singing, dancing, traveling, reading anything related to psychology or spirituality, and spending time in nature around Portland with my family.
